Marli enjoying breakfast!

Loving her Butternut Squash soup for breakfast, yes she will eat anything!  While her brother's snooze away in bed!

Today I am grateful for.....

A great night sleep.....
Knowing our kids are all tucks warmly in their beds.......
That my hubby helped my clean the kitchen this morning.......
Having the day off work and the kids off school.......
A delicious cup of tea with my special mixture........
A nice hot shower.....
Getting my car back from the shop, I hate being trapped without a car (but having Dave take and pick me up from work was a nice treat!)
That I get to exercise today.....

Grateful for....

That my migraine headache is starting to get better.
For being able to serve and host families with our church tonight that are less fortunate and need a warm meal.  May we all learn something wonderful from each other.
That Dave and I both have jobs we love and great co-workers

What I am Grateful of!

With Thanksgiving a couple days away and in talking with the kids about being grateful for what we have I decided to try and blog till Thanksgiving what I am thankful for.

FAITH........
I feel so blessed t0 walk this journey with GOD to know he is always with me and the comfort of our Church.
FAMILY.....
To have had the honor of being raised by amazing loving parents, 2 brothers that I shared so many memories with.  A husband who loves me unconditionally, even when I am not very lovable!  To have been blessed to birth three wonderful boys turning into men and the gift of adoption; sharing a bond with her birth mom that I will never meet but the comfort of knowing we both love the same soul.
FRIENDS.......where would I be without you!  Laughed with, cried with,  and love from the bottom of my heart!

Weekend hockey games!

Kyle:  weekend off, just off ice training
Sam:  Saturday's game lost, played terrible
Sunday won- hat trick for Sam!
Ben:  weekend off-he was up North hunting with his Dad.  I have the sweetest photo Dave took with his cell phone of Ben sleeping in the deer blind.  Wish I knew how to upload it.

Weekend hockey games!

Kyle's varsity team one both scrimmages! Team looked good. Kyle hurt his left knee, hopefully nothing that a little ice and rest will help.
Sam's JV team won Friday nights game and tied Saturdays game, the team played great with having a short bench.  We are getting our money's worth with being on the ice every other shift. (if only Dave and I could burn all those calories watching... that the boys do playing) Sam scored 2 goals and 2 assists.
Ben's PeeWee team was in a tournament in Big Rapids.  They won the tournament.  Ben played well in the net.
Marli enjoys running around at the games and hitting the concession stands.

Chili is cooking for dinner and making some pumpkin chocolate chip bread. Staying in my jammies all day!
